Not just a medical conference, but a gathering ground of medical visionaries and lifelong caregivers, GOMECON - is an annual Pan India Medical Conference organized by the Goa Medical College Students' Association. A vibrant union of undergraduate and postgraduate students hosting 500+ delegates from all over India, the conference will be held at the Goa Medical College campus for 3 days, making the 11th edition a collaborative platform to ignite innovation and inspire healers.
With it's dynamic array of hands-on workshops, engaging events, and inspiring talks, GOMECON is a stage built on resilience and brilliance of true healers that shine brightest in the chaos of the unexpected.

located at Bambolim stands among the pioneers of Medical Education in Asia, where the echoes of 17th-century healing blends with the pulse of modern innovation. The institute fosters learning by offering MBBS, MD/MS in multiple specialties and super-specialties, along with active participation in national and international research. With a 1,200+ bedded tertiary care hospital, advanced trauma center and a super-specialty wing, it serves over 10 lakh patients annually.

This platform has always been more than just a conference; it is a space where ideas are shared, and where young minds come together to learn and grow. Each edition has carried forward the spirit of Goa Medical College, evolving into a tradition of academic brilliance.

This year, as the world continues to face an increase in global health emergencies and mass casualties, our theme - “In the heart of crisis, we become the pulse”- resonates deeply. The importance of emergency response lies not only in textbooks but in our ability to react rapidly and efficiently to any urgent medical situation, whether it involves one patient or many. Through this theme, we aim to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-life application, preparing ourselves for the realities that await us as future doctors.
